1.  Bhikaji Cama

Lakshmi Sahgal also known as Laxmi Swaminathan was the first Indian army officer in Azad Hind Fauj also known as Indian National Army. Hence, she is also called Captain Laxmi. The women’s regiment in the Indian National Army was founded under her leadership.  

5. Khudiram Bose

Jhalkaribai was a female Indian soldier who played an important role in the revolt of 1857. On the other hand, she was not only a prominent advisor of Rani Laxmi Bai but also served in Rani Laxmi Bai’s women’s army.

Durgabai Deshmukh, also known as the Iron Lady of India, was a freedom fighter, lawyer, and passionate social worker. On the other hand, she got the Padma Vibhushan in 1975 for promoting literacy in India.
