AIR Full Form

AIR full form is completely described as All India Radio. It was first known as the Akashvani and later in the year 1956, it was known as All India Radio. Prasar Bharti, the biggest public radio in India is part of AIR. Moreover, AIR is part of the most and biggest influential radio programs in terms of the variety of spoken languages and socioeconomic and cultural diversity. History of AIR 

• Firstly, in the year 1923 first radio broadcasting in India was established. 
• In June 1923, the first nation’s broadcast was conducted by the Bombay Radio Club. 
• After five months, Calcutta Radio Club started developing. 
• On July 23, 1927, the establishment of IBC( Indian Broadcasting Company) was done.
• Resuming industrial-scale operations of the Industries and Labor Division’s Indian Broadcasting Service was started in April 1930. 
• Akashvani Mysore, a private radio station was established in next month. 
• Finally, on June 8, 1936, Indian State Broadcasting Service was later named AIR(All India Radio).

Hence, Vividh Bharati controls its programming across a range of FM frequencies and wavebands. Popular shows that air on CBS or Vividh Bharati include:
